I analyzed performance data and interviewed HRBPs and leaders to understand what was and wasn’t working with our performance management process. I also reviewed the existing training to identify gaps based on what I learned.
From there, I worked cross-functionally to update our processes and build new performance management frameworks. I assembled a team to refresh the training we wanted to keep and developed new content to help leaders apply the frameworks and navigate the new processes.
We also shifted from knowledge-based training to practical application, combining self-paced learning with hands-on sessions, real manager scenarios, and practical tools. Leaders created action plans tied to actual performance conversations, and I partnered with HRBPs to reinforce the new practices in their daily work.
Performance management shifted from a once-a-year process to a system that drives accountability and action year-round.
